Do’s & Don’ts
To ensure the most accurate results, please follow these guidelines:
Hydrate well the day before your test.
Schedule your test at a similar time of day if you're doing repeat assessments (ideally in the morning).
Wear light, comfortable clothing (avoid heavy layers).
Eat or drink for at least 2–3 hours before the test.
Exercise or engage in intense activity within 12 hours of your appointment.
Consume caffeine or alcohol within 24 hours before testing.
Apply lotion or oils to your hands or feet on the day of the test (this can interfere with contact points on the scale).
Do the test during your menstrual cycle, if possible - this can affect fluid levels and skew results.
